Project for Purchasing Vehicle for Welfare Facilities in Tuaran

The
Government of Japan extended Grant Assistance totaling approximately RM 105,000
for Sabah Society for the Blind. The grant was used for purchasing a Van. The
vehicle benefits the Blind or visually impaired people as a means of
transportation for attending many activities and events, shopping for daily
necessities and so on.
This Project
was completed recently and handed over to Sabah Society for the Blind at
Wallace Sheltered Workshop Blind Centre in Tuaran on
27th May 2015, in the presence of Mr. Shinji URABAYASHI, the Head of
Consular Office of Japan and Datuk Rosalind Chew Bee Koh,
President of Sabah Society for the Blind .
