The Hand-over Ceremony of the Grassroots Grant Assistance
Project for Improvement of Woman Health Clinic in Sabah

The Government of Japan extended Grant Assistance
totaling approximately RM 183,000 to Sabah Family Planning Association. The grant
was used for purchasing an ultrasound scan machine and a vehicle(van). The ultrasound scan machine is mainly utilized
for diagnosis of a women’s disease and the van is used for rural health care
service deliveries.
This Project was completed recently and the items were
handed over by Ms. Hiroko MATSUO, the Head of Consular Office of Japan to Mr. Liew King Hee, President of Sabah
Family Planning Association on 12th May 2016, in the presence of Sabah Family
Planning Association members and many NGOs.
