Courtesy Call on Director of Forests Sarawak by Head of Office Nakasuji

On 14th August, Head of Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu Nakasuji paid a courtesy call on Datu Haji Hamden Bin Haji Mohammad, Director of Forests Sarawak.
The both parties discussed tropical forest restoration activities in Sarawak, which have been carried out for many years by the Japan-Malaysia Association, a Japanese NGO, cooperation with Japanese universities and research institutions regarding tropical forest-related research in Sarawak, and support for sustainable forest management through the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).
