Japanese Cultural Night 2016 (Bon Odori)

The 8th Japanese Cultural Night (Bon Odori) organized by the Japanese Cultural Club of Universiti Malaysia Sabah was attended by 1,000 participants from all over Kota Kinabalu, including university students, Japan Club members, Japanese School students, as well as local residents.
Besides performances such as the Bon dance, dances performed by the Japanese School students, and demonstrations by Japanese martial art organizations (Aikido, Kendo, and Shourinji Kenpo), there were many stalls and booths, and even a tea ceremony presentation by the Japan Club.
The Consular Office also had a booth at the event introducing traditional Japanese toys and origami.
