Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) Escort Division 1 vessel “AKIZUKI” will be open to the public at Kota Kinabalu Naval Base RMN

Two vessels from the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) Escort Division 1 (vessel “AKIZUKI”, training submarine “MICHISHIO”) has embarked on an oceanic training voyage in the Southeast Asian region that will last from 17th March (Sat) to 27th April (Sun). Currently, the fleet is heading from Japan towards Malaysia.
 
The fleet will berth at Kota Kinabalu Naval Base RMN from 6th April (Fri) to 9th April (Mon). This will be the JMSDF’s sixth port call to Kota Kinabalu and the first in a year.
 
The vessel “AKIZUKI” will be open to the public at the Kota Kinabalu Naval Base RMN at the time and venue below.
