The ceremony of the Grassroots Grant Assistance Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment for Woman Health Clinic in Sarawak

The Government of Japan extended Grant Assistance totaling approximately RM124,000 to Sarawak Family Planning Association for purchasing an ultrasound scan machine and two autoclaves. These machines are used for providing healthcare services for women especially in rural areas in Sarawak.
Ms. Hiroko Matsuo, the Head of Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu, and Ms. Wee Chong Hui, chairman of Sarawak Family Planning Association, made a speech at the ceremony in the presence of members of Sarawak Family Planning Association.
