On 14 November, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri announced that 18 November and 19 November, the voting day and the previous day, would be public holidays to facilitate voting.
Based on the announcement, the Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu will be closed on 18 November 2022 (Fri). Instead, the embassy will be open on 29 December, 2022 (Thu).
