The Hand-over Ceremony of the Grassroots Grant Assistance Project for Purchasing the Vehicle for Girls’ Hostel in Tuaran

 The Government of Japan has purchased a vehicle (MPV) through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) for the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu South, which supports a facility in Tuaran, Sabah, for girls who cannot attend school due to family circumstances. The handover ceremony for the vehicle, organized by the Rotary Club, was held on Wednesday, April 17.
 The ceremony was attended by Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu South President Mr. Carlwin Yee, Past President Datuk Ganeshanandha Senathirajah, and Head of Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu, Mr. Yamashita Yoshito, representing the Government of Japan.
