The Hand-over Ceremony of the Grassroots Grant Assistance Project for Purchasing a Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle with a Lift for Welfare Home in Sandakan

 The Government of Japan has purchased a wheelchair-accessible vehicle with a lift through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project (GGP) for Sabah Cheshire Home and Services, which runs welfare homes in Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan, Sabah. The handover ceremony for the vehicle, organized by Sabah Cheshire Home and Services, was held on Thursday, 14th May.
 The ceremony was attended by Sabah Cheshire Home and Services President Mr. Lawrence Hee Qui Shing, and Head of Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu, Mr. Nakasuji Hisaki, representing the Government of Japan, in the presence of The Hounable Datuk Julita Majungki, Minister of Women, Health, and People’s Wellbeing of Sabah.
