Head of Office Yamashita attended the Opening Ceremony for the Ehime University Satellite Office Malaysia at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS)

On 16th February, Head of the Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu Yamashita attended the opening ceremony for the Ehime University Satellite Office Malaysia at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in Sabah.
The office has been established at the Borneo Medical and Health Research Centre (BMHRC), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), UMS.
Several Japanese universities, including Ehime University, and UMS are jointly implementing the Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) program "Sustainable Control for Zoonotic Malaria through an Integrated Approach," which was inaugurated in November 2025.
