Head of Office Nakasuji attended the PR event for the direct charter flight tour between Kota Kinabalu and Okinawa

On 19th June, Head of Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu Nakasuji attended the PR event for the direct charter flight tour between Kota Kinabalu and Okinawa, organized by the local travel agency in Sabah.
This charter flight tour is a 5-day, 4-night itinerary, departing from Kota Kinabalu on 10th December 2026, and returning to Kota Kinabalu from Okinawa on 14th December 2026.
The event was also attended by Mr. Julinus Jeffery Jimit, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sabah Tourism Board. Some attendees welcomed the recent lowering of the travel advisory for several parts of Eastern Sabah by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and expressed hope for an increase in Japanese tourists in Sabah.
